WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS

This Privacy Policy covers the Commercial Business Users Constituency’s (also known as the Business Constituency and BC; and hereby identified as the BC) treatment of personally identifiable and other information that we collect and receive. “Data” and “Information” includes information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and other data that is not otherwise publicly available.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE 

The BC collects Personal Data about you as an individual when you apply for a membership application to join the BC. This personal data is required for the purpose of your participation in the Business Constituency (BC) and is collected and retained only so that the BC can contact you for administrative membership reasons and so that you can participate in BC actions and meetings. "Personal Data" refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

When you register your email address on the BC’s website, this information is stored in our membership database, hosted by Memberclicks. Further, the BC’s membership application asks for personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, occupation, business address, and country. This information is also stored and maintained by the BC.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

The BC does not rent, sell, or share information about you (including personally identifiable information) with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission.

YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING PERSONAL DATA

If you requested to participate in the Business Constituency (BC) or have been added to the Business Constituency (BC)’s website and/or mailing lists, and no longer wish to participate, or would like to exercise your rights, in accordance with the law, to access, correct, modify, delete, or object to the BC’s processing of your Personal Data, or would like to receive your Personal Data provided to the BC, please contact the BC Secretariat at [email protected]. The BC will respond to your request without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt of the request (this period may be extended in accordance with the law).
